Coming to the US or Canada
Most people who move into North American nursing from abroad already studied in English. What stops them is not the language — it is the process: which body reads your transcript, which exam your board accepts, and whether the licence or the visa comes first.
There are two different journeys here. They only meet at the end, once you are qualified and applying for a licence. Start with the one that describes you.
I am already a licensed nurse
You qualified outside the US or Canada and want to practice there. Your path runs through credential evaluation, an English requirement you may be exempt from, a state or provincial licence application, the NCLEX, and a visa.
