Important disclaimer — please read
PreNurse is a study aid. It is not a guarantee of exam success, and the content may contain errors. Everything on this site — questions, rationales, guides, advice, and explanations — could be wrong. We make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Using this site does not guarantee you will pass the NCLEX, TEAS, HESI, or any other exam. You may fail. Studying here is no substitute for accredited coursework, official preparation materials, or advice from licensed educators.
1. Who We Are
PreNurse is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with NCSBN (the organization that makes NCLEX), ATI Testing (TEAS), or Elsevier (HESI). References to those exams are for descriptive purposes only.
2. The Content May Be Wrong
We put real effort into accuracy — questions are written and reviewed carefully. But nursing content is complex, guidelines change, and mistakes happen. Do not treat anything on PreNurse as definitive clinical or exam guidance. Always verify important information against official sources, your textbooks, and your instructors.
If you find an error, please flag the question. We genuinely appreciate it and will fix it.
3. No Medical Advice
Nothing on PreNurse is medical advice. This is a study tool for nursing students. Do not use anything here to guide clinical decisions or patient care.
4. Your Account
- You must be 13 or older to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with others or use it for commercial purposes.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
5. Credits and Payments
- Credits are non-refundable. This applies to used and unused credits alike — once a purchase completes, we do not issue refunds or partial refunds for the credits it added, except where refusing one would break the law where you live.
- Credits do not expire, are tied to the account that bought them, and cannot be transferred, sold, or gifted to another account. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Deleting your account ends the Advanced Tools Pass. Deleting the account is permanent: the Advanced Tools Pass is forfeited immediately, the one-time payment is not refunded, the pass is not transferable to another account, and it cannot be restored — not by signing up again with the same email address, and not by contacting support. Weekly credits are an allowance rather than a balance you own, so any left unused simply stop. You can review this warning on your Account page before confirming.
- We may also revoke credits without refund on accounts we suspend or terminate for abuse under section 4.
- All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't handle card details directly.
- Prices may change. Credits you have already purchased are not affected by price changes.
6. Free Content
The complete question bank, all exam simulations, detailed rationales, case studies, and progress tracking are free and will remain free. We reserve the right to adjust what's included in the free tier in the future, but our intent is to keep core exam practice permanently free.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on PreNurse — questions, rationales, guides, design, and code — is our property or used with permission. You may use it for personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell it.
8. Limitation of Liability
PreNurse is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of this site, including but not limited to exam failure, career setbacks, or decisions made based on content found here. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where PreNurse is incorporated.
